Frequently Asked Questions
How is the Body Loop different from a yoga strap?
The Body Loop is made of elastic making it resilient and able to respond to the movement of the body. A yoga strap does not stretch.
How is the Body Loop different from other resistance bands?
The Body Loop will not break. The latex in the Body Loop is woven into polyester which makes it very durable. The elasticity of the Body Loop is consistent, unlike resistance bands that come in multiple levels of resistance. The Body Loop can be adjusted into 24 sizes – adding resistance is achieved by adjusting the size via the Velcro fasteners.
What is proprioception?
Proprioception is also referred to the body’s sixth sense – sensing where the body is in space is paramount to moving well. The receptors that inform this sense are in the skin, fascia and muscles. Using the Body Loop creates a gentle pressure on the body linking the movement with the brain. The brain receives this enhanced information and is able to determine where the body parts are in space and how they are moving in relation to each other.
How do I care for my Body Loops?
The Body Loop is made of woven polyester containing elastic latex and Velcro. Caring for your Body Loop will help maintain the strength of elastic and gripping power of the Velcro which will prolong the life of the Body Loop. To wash the Body Loop, always engage the prickly (hook side) and the soft (loop side). Use cold water, gentle detergent and hang to dry.
Cleaning VELCRO® Brand hook surfaces
Over time, the prickly / hook surface can pick up lint and other debris that can affect its ability to grip the soft / loop surface. Cleaning debris out of the hooks is similar to cleaning hairbrushes: use a stiff brush or another piece of hook. It can take some doing – after all, the hooks in the tape are made to grab! The optimal solution is prevention: the hook portion should be covered at all times so it does not grab onto anything it should not — like a blanket or your hair.
What do I do if I’m not happy with my Body Loops?
You can return them for a full refund, within 30 days of purchase. Contact us if you have any questions. All applicable taxes and duties are the responsibility of the customer. Shipping charges are non-refundable if the package is refused.
Does the Body Loop contain latex?
Yes it does. Latex is woven into the polyester making it very durable, resilient and long lasting.
Is the Body Loop sustainably sourced?

Can I get hurt using the Body Loop?
We encourage people who are new to working with resistance to start slow introducing one or two exercises, noticing how your body feels during and the day. If you experience any discomfort we suggest you stop, or try a modification that feels better for you.
Can I attach the Body Loop to anything?
Yes, you can attach the Body Loop to railings or into door frames. Please be careful to ensure that the connection is secure before applying any force.
